Robert Farrell Outstanding Teacher Award

Do you know and outstanding teacher? Each History Day District will recognize a District "Richard Farrell Outstanding Teacher." The district nominees will be recognized at the State Competition awards assembly, and one of the nominees will be recognized as the Arkansas Richard Farrell Outstanding Teacher. The teacher recognized will advance to the National History Day Award Process.

The History Channel Outstanding History Educator Award

Do you know an educator who has gone above and beyond for History Day? The History Channel Outstanding History Educator Award is given annually to an educator who has made an exceptional contribution to history education through the National History Day program.

To Nominate for either award:

Send an email with the subject either "Richard Farrell Outstanding Teacher" or The History Channel Outstanding Educator Award to your district coordinator.

The Email Must Contain:

• Teacher's Name
• School name, address, and phone number
• Principal's name
• Why this teacher is an outstanding History Day teacher, or what they have done above and beyond for History Day?
